A couple of weekends ago Lauren and I were entrusted with taking the wedding photos for two of our good friends here in Newfoundland. Carla and Brian had asked us to take their photos and despite some inner fears we agreed. It was a great day, not only for the happy couple but for us too. We had shot a wedding back in Ireland some years ago so it wasn’t completely new (Lauren had shot some prior to that as well, she studied photography and journalism in college) but there was still lots to learn and new techniques to master. We did ok I think, at least the couple seem to like the photos we have sent them so far, there are many many more are to be processed but I’ll get through them soon.
