Torbay Winter

This weekend we had a big fall of snow, 23cm on Saturday night. At least to me that was a big fall of snow but to the locals they seemed to think it was pretty average. Since it was the weekend I had a great opportunity to get out on Sunday morning while the snow was still fresh to get some photos. Taking photos in snow like this is a new experience to me but I did manage to get a couple of ok shots. This view stood out because the buildings across the bay were painted in bright colours. The snow is starting to melt today but I expect I’ll have plenty more opportunities before the winter ends here.

    1. Hi Kyle, thanks, it’s great to be over here and have some new stuff to shoot. The place is beautiful.

Have a great Christmas and New Year too, hope college and the photo career are going well.

      Declan.

    1. Thanks Kevin. It was taken with a Canon 40D and a Canon 24-70 L 2.8 lens at 24mm. F/11, Shutter speed 1/400 sec, ISO-400. Then I did a bit of exposure work in Lightroom.
