This weekend we had a big fall of snow, 23cm on Saturday night. At least to me that was a big fall of snow but to the locals they seemed to think it was pretty average. Since it was the weekend I had a great opportunity to get out on Sunday morning while the snow was still fresh to get some photos. Taking photos in snow like this is a new experience to me but I did manage to get a couple of ok shots. This view stood out because the buildings across the bay were painted in bright colours. The snow is starting to melt today but I expect I’ll have plenty more opportunities before the winter ends here.

Amazing shot Dec – love to see the exit data!
Thanks Kevin. It was taken with a Canon 40D and a Canon 24-70 L 2.8 lens at 24mm. F/11, Shutter speed 1/400 sec, ISO-400. Then I did a bit of exposure work in Lightroom.
