The first few photos I’ve posted from Newfoundland have been foggy and misty shots. In reality that was just one weekend and our first month here have been dominated by sunshine and high temperatures. St John’s itself is a beautiful colourful city so I spent a day down town taking photos of the row houses, some of which I’ll post over the next few weeks.
This photo was taking from The Rooms a museum which sits high above the city and while some of my friends hate it’s modern design towering over the city but it does have a viewing platform that gives a great view of the city. In the distance is Signal Hill and The Narrows entrance to the harbour, on the hill is Cabot Tower. If you look at the city itself you’ll see some of the colourful downtown row houses that are a huge tourist attraction.
